Statue of Gangnam Style(강남스타일 동상)

1. Location (based on Seoul map)

• Address: Youngdong-daero 513 (outside COEX East Plaza), Samseong-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul
• Area: Samseong-dong / COEX District
• Map context: Located at the East Square of COEX Complex (near Exit 6 of Samseong Station), in front of Starfield Library.

2. Getting There

• From Incheon Airport – same routes as COEX Mall (see A).
• From Seoul Station – Subway Line 4 → Line 2 → Samseong Station; exit 6 for COEX East Plaza.

3. History & Opening Date

• Installed in December 2015 by the Gangnam District Office to commemorate the global success of PSY’s song “Gangnam Style.”
• The 6-meter bronze-colored sculpture depicts the song’s signature horse-riding dance pose.
• It serves as a photo spot and symbol of modern K-pop culture in Seoul.
